ABOUT ME

Growing up, Michael moved around a lot until he finally left home and moved to London. When he was younger, the moving around forced him to constantly meet new people and leave old fiends behind. One thing always remained a constant to him. His music. Meeting new people introduced him to new types of music and new artists and listening to this new music after moving on kept his memories alive.

In his first year at university, He shared a flat with a DJ from ministry of sound. Living with this guy introduced him to an entire new life. “this new life showed me a way in which I could play my music and have everyone dancing to my life.” His flat mate helped him pick up the basics of DJing. “I don't think I left my room for much for at least four weeks whilst I was practicing with my music and my new equipment.” after a few months he got his first gig in his student union and a few weeks after his first gig he got to play in ministry of sound. “I couldn't stop playing, it made me feel alive.”

Who influences you the most? “I love nearly every artist I listen to but most of my inspiration comes from artists such as Alan Walker, Marshmello, Galantis, Avicci. but the list is truly endless.”

When he first started playing, He was playing in his student union every week and played at ministry of sound a number of times. after a while the student union asked him to play at many different events such as staff parties, end of year parties, fashion shows, fairs. whilst he was abroad, he also got the chance to play in clubs in Portugal and in Goa. He now has the opportunity to play in one of the biggest clubs in Tito’s lane in Goa, every time he returns to India.

Currently, He is playing for smaller events, so that events with a smaller budget can also get a chance to have good music at their event.

What are you plans for the future? “I want to be able to travel around the country and play at different venues so that I can broaden the amount of people that can listen to the music of my life.”
